> What You’ll Do
As the APAC Head of Business Development, you’ll spearhead our expansion across key markets, including Japan, Singapore and the ASEAN, Australia, and beyond. You’ll be the face of our business in the region, building relationships with financial institutions, regulators, and technology partners to unlock new opportunities and drive revenue..
>> Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for APAC across fintech and regtech verticals
- Identify and close strategic partnerships with banks, asset managers, exchanges, and regulators
- Lead enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting to negotiation and onboarding
- Represent the company at industry events, panels, and investor meetings
- Collaborate with product and R&D teams to align solutions with market needs
- Build and manage a regional business development team as we scale
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform product roadmap and strategy
> What We’re Looking For
>> Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales in fintech, regtech, or financial services
- Deep understanding of APAC financial ecosystems and regulatory environments
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals and building long-term client relationships
- Strong network across financial institutions, regulators, and tech partners in APAC
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for emerging technologies
>> Bonus Points:
- CQF certification
- Experience with quantum computing, AI/ML, or deep tech commercialisation
- Multilingual fluency (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean)
- Prior startup or scale-up experience in APAC
- Other certifications such as CFA / FRM would be an asset
- Team player attitude
- Open to travel
